PASS Receives Recognition from MLA Rhiannon Hoyle for Community Work

On December 16, members of the PASS team had the honor of visiting the office of MLA Rhiannon Hoyle, where we were warmly received and presented with a thoughtful token of appreciation in recognition of our work in the community.

This visit marked a meaningful moment for our organization, reflecting the importance of collaboration between community-based organizations and elected representatives in building inclusive, resilient, and supportive communities in Edmonton.

A Moment of Recognition and Encouragement

During the visit, MLA Rhiannon Hoyle acknowledged PASS’s commitment to serving newcomers, seniors, and low-income community members. The recognition we received is deeply appreciated and serves as encouragement for our team as we continue to expand our programs and services.

For PASS, this moment represents more than a formal visit; it is a reminder that community-driven work matters, and that strong relationships with public leaders play a vital role in addressing local needs.

Strengthening Community Partnerships

PASS was founded on the belief that meaningful change happens through partnership, trust, and shared responsibility. Engagements such as this visit reinforce our commitment to working collaboratively with government representatives, local organizations, and community members to ensure accessible support and opportunities for those we serve.

We are grateful for the continued support and recognition from MLA Rhiannon Hoyle and the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, and we look forward to strengthening these connections as we move forward.

Looking Ahead

As PASS continues to grow, we remain focused on our mission to support settlement, inclusion, and community connection across Edmonton. Recognition from community leaders motivates us to deepen our impact and remain responsive to the evolving needs of newcomers and families.

We extend our sincere thanks to MLA Rhiannon Hoyle and her team for the warm welcome, recognition, and encouragement, and to all our partners and supporters who make our work possible.
